Deeper Chill is a Psychedelic, Wintery, V/A Compilation selected by Producer & Mindspring label partner, Twin Shape, and featuring the artwork of Jono Hislop. Ambientium sets the mood for the journey in the opening track "Transformation", a chilly Ambient tune that builds into a Psybient atmosphere - with elements of Glitch and Dub. From there Moon Frog matches the Psy-tinged Ambient opening of the comp with "Medicine Will", morphing into an evocative and emotional Dub song. Martins Garden takes over next with the Psydub driven "Qi", it's energy propelling us inward - yet outward and beyond. Wonder Nexus continues the excursion by bringing the listener deeper into a frigid Dub and Glitch landscape with his track, "Grotto", which twists and turns its melody throughout. "Destiny" from Dimmat carries on with a crisp and light touch, a Downtempo foray that quickens the pace halfway through as an atmospheric - 4/4 - Psy tune. Leading us along, compiler Twin Shape continues the common time beat set by Dimmat in his warmth-seeking track "Four Corners". Twin's contribution features deep Reese-style bass, glitchy hits, breathy atmospherics, and spacey leads - meditative and contemplative. The listener will now find they are a passenger in Gyrro's capable care, in "From Metariel", with another straight beat marching ever forward. This Psychill offering reaches far into the cosmos with an energizing, upbeat, feel that prepares one for launch into "Hyperspace Dreams" by Metamorphosis - the final destination in this Compilation. Slow and steady, this Psychedelic Chill tune builds into the highest point of energy yet; inspiring and reflective, the leads soar as it gives a sense of embarking into the exciting unknown.
